The other day I went into a McDonald’s for a cheeseburger, fries and a coke and all I was offered was a lousy salad. I don’t want a salad. I don;t want to eat healthy or otherwise why am I standing in a burger joint that sells greasy french-fries? I don’t want the one of six salad choices, the one of half-a-dozen chicken sandwhich choices or have to choose between McDonalds regular fish sandwich or their super fish sandwich. I just want a cheeseburger!

What happened at Chicago’s Union Station Christmas Day was a near riot with an angry mob of 600 passengers looking for a customer service representative to rip apart. No wonder customers found doors locked, and customers service representatives hiding. As one Amtrak employee told an irate customer, “There’s a lesson to be learned in all this and you need to figure out what that lesson is.” There is a lesson to be learned in this alright and it is Amtrak that needs to learn it by government stepping in and putting the thieving corporate scumbags out of business.

The corporate fast-food empire in America is evil. They have had Americans bending over so long, spreading our butt-cheeks and liking it, that they think they can get away with whatever they want, whenever they want , and treat the customers however they want. McDonalds makes billions-of dollars every year. Last year McDonalds revenues reached a record high of $22.8 billion on global comparable sales of 6.8% and returned $5.7 billion to shareholders through shares repurchased and dividends paid. Yet. last week, McDonalds announced that they are no longer going to offer its customers free water.
