Already well into a four-year Obama presidency, Americans are at the breaking point. They hear that the economy is recovering but continue to see jobs disappear. Americans have always equated a healthy economy with lots of jobs everywhere …

finding fault with every little thing has become a Chicago habit.

In my Chicago suburb, Comcast, the local cable provider with over 200 channels to choose from, did not have one decent Halloween movie on. What happened to all those Halloween comedy’s they used to show?

This is not the “ROCKY MOUNTAIN HIGH” that John Denver had in mind.

Cougar Town has the potential to be more than a one-joke affair, although Courtney Cox hitting on high-school boys is not exactly ha-ha funny

Many Americans are doing what they can to contribute to a “greener” America by recycling, planting trees, monitoring electric and water consumption but do we face a crisis as Obama claims? I think not. I

One thing is for sure, Al Gore belongs to the Liars Club along with Rush Limbaugh and other’s. He promoted a “fear agenda” in promoting “global warming” to line his pockets with millions of “green” dollars. In fact, I suspect this whole “green movement” is just a scam to line the pockets of those who own “green businesses” or promoting “green technologies.”

Global problems, real or conjured up, require global governmental solutions. As Whistleblower explains, environmentalism is nothing less than the global elitists’ replacement ideology for communism/socialism and we all know that Obama has a “socialist” agenda, not only with “Climate Change” but health-care, and Wall Street.” Is Obama just turning out to be a grey-shade of Al Gore?

“Don’t ask” because this Supreme Court “Won’t tell.”
The Obama administration comes under growing pressure to use his executive powers to place a moratorium on the discharges while he lobbies Congress to overturn the controversial 1993 law which was enacted as a compromise after then-President Bill Clinton set off a mutiny when he tried to allow gays to serve openly in uniform. More than 13,000 troops have been discharged for being gay since 1993.

Since then, times have changed, and the public is more supportive of letting gays serve in the military.

It’s been a long, long road since a young British singer with long brown hair and almond brown eyes burst forth upon the American music scene in the 1970’s becoming a musical legend by the name of “Cat Stevens” but the roadsinger is back and better than ever. The 70’s have returned.

During the 2008 Presidential primaries- there was a running skit on Saturday Night Live parodying Democratic candidate’s Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. The skit was to which candidate would handle the 3 a.m. phone-call better. The 3 a.m. phone call was a joke… until this week when President Barack Obama actually got the 3 a.m. phone call.

Now, I get a kick out of the occasional news story of some idiot who gets himself or herself into trouble. The stories that are about dumb criminals who get themselves into a moronjam are particularly funny, especially when their stupidity must give policemen a laugh when they arrive on the scene. But the stories about elected officials, teachers, policemen, firemen, the very people we look to for leadership, togovern us, to protect us and who do incredibly stupid things are becoming all too frequent in its reporting.
There are two types of people. There are the people who “get it” and those who don’t. Furthermore it’s the people who don’t get it that usually think they do like Donald Trump, Nancy Pelosi, Rod Blagojevich. It seems to me of late that besides the H1 N1 Virus there is another virus infecting America- the “STUCK ON STUPID VIRUS” or the D1 UMB 1 Virus and that more and more of our elected officials, cops, teachers, movie-stars have been infected

They wed the most beautiful girls; they are building big houses; they have new cars; new guns. Piracy in many ways is socially acceptable. They have become fashionable.
Most of them are aged between 20 and 35 years – in it for the money. And the rewards they receive are rich in a country where almost half the population need food aid after 17 years of non-stop conflict. Most vessels captured in the busy shipping lanes of the Gulf of Aden fetch on average a ransom of $2m.
People, like these Somali’s who have their backs up against the wall have nothing left to lose. You cannot threaten them away, chase them away, or put an end to piracy. It took eight-centuries (800-years) to out an end to the Barbary Pirates. Today’s modern-day pirates grabbing super-tankers can do a lot more damage in a smaller amount of time. It’s too late after a worldwide ecological disaster to say, “I told you so.”
