If you’re in a failing relationship you may not want to take advice from someone who’s on marriage number three. The same man that cheated on his second wife with his third wife, and screwed his second wife in an ugly divorce settlement. But then, who is better qualified to offer such advice.?
Sometimes funny, sometimes direct, but always truthful, Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man is a book you must read if you want to understand how men think when it comes to relationships.
women’s standards and requirements have lowered over the years. And as men, we know that. We have taken advantage of it. We’ve created terms that we feed to women that allow us to exist as we do.

Already it’s begun. Middle-class anger at the economic crisis in Great Britain could erupt into violence on streets. Britain’s most senior police officer with responsibility for public order raised the spectre of a return of the riots of the 1980s, with people who have lost their jobs, homes or savings becoming “footsoldiers” in a wave of potentially violent mass protests.
Oscars Drunk and Nude

Every year, Oscar viewers and the academy members are promised change but what we get is so bland, boring, stuffy that even the Oscar award-winners often-times do not attend to accept their own awards but manage to show up at the many “after parties”. Even Oscar’s most popular host, Billy Crystal, said in 2008 that he passed on the Oscar hosting job that went to Jon Stewart because his one-man stage show is consuming his attention. (That was code for this show is so crappy I don’t want to be associated with it).
I so wish that a streaker would run across the stage, or some senior citizen attempt a one-handed push-up, or Janet Jackson were a better actress so she could get into the building and give us a wardrobe malfunction.
AMERICA IN SURVIVAL MODE

That the worst is yet to come is the “good news” according to many of America’s leading economic experts. The bad news for American consumers, lenders, retailers and major employers is that America is sliding into a Great Depression and that the apsirations have to come down if we are to survive this, the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression of 1929.
Since the Ronald Regan years Americans have been living fat on the hog, borrowing to send their kids to expensive private schools and Ivy-League colleges. Americans have been borrowing to buy a home or a vacation home, buy a new car, borrowing to remodel an older home, going to the Mall and buying expensive electronics, video-gaming systems, eating out at expensive restaurants, the “daily-cup” of Starbucks.
The unraveling of an economy built on debt-fueled spending will be painful for years to come and the US economy clearly in a major recession if not a depression, means the end of rampant consumerism. Americans are in survival mode

It is the highest point on earth and, for nearly 100 years was an unattainable goal. The 8,000-meter peaks of the Himalayas have become the unfortunate repositories for what is repugnant about human nature with very little innate goodness surviving.
Everest horror stories have been making the rounds through mainstream media since the 2008 Beijing Olympics that the Chinese have karakalhijacked Everest for its own propaganda and turned it into the highest and deadliest playground in the world with little reagrd for human life.

Instead of Hallmark: try a little “sincerity” this Valentine’s Day

An alternative theory from Belarus states that the holiday originates from the story of Saint Valentine, who upon rejection by his mistress was so heartbroken that he took a knife to his chest and sent her his still-beating heart as a token of his undying love for her. Hence, heart-shaped cards are now sent as a tribute to his overwhelming passion and suffering
GOVERNMENT MUST RESCUE MAIN STREET

The cowardly actions of Circuit City, Linens and Things, KB Toys, Mervyn’s, Whitehall Jewelers, and Steve & Barry’s and Sharper Image have put all of our retailing at risk in America. These cowards, who for years, refused to “re-tool,” “re-organize,”or “re-structure” but instead choose the cowardly way out by closing all their stores and laying off their entire work-force while the CFO’s bailed with huge golden-parachutes, have now set the tone for every retailer in America who are facing tough economic times.
CEO’s like Philip Schoonover should be in jail right now. We jail people on traffic charges which is less than a misdemeanor but the Schoonover’s of the world who create nationwide havoc with their criminal irresponsibility- we let skate.
Jailing irresponsible CEO’s like Philip Schoonover by an Obama administration would go a long way to restoring the public trust and in the meantime, the Obama administartion needs to take immediate steps to intercede in this loss of public confidence, before it becomes a mass panic. Perhaps Obama should start by singing, Don’t Worry Be Happy instead of The Boys Are Back In Town.
