Lips, hips, tits … what’s not to love about the sexiest woman alive?

Every month I see an article in Esquire for The Sexiest Woman Alive and every month it is a different woman. Now, how can she be the “sexiest woman alive” when they change her every month? Wouldn’t that be, The sexiest woman alive-this month? Or. the sexiest woman of the moment?

I see articles with the titles like, The 25 sexiest women  in film, or The 50-sexiest women alive, The 100-Sexiest women of all time..

Here’s something you have to know. Whoever is doing the rating, it’s an arbitrary rating. It’s arbitrary because well, let’s face it, most of the twenty-something writers magazines like Esquire and Cosmo have these days are just not old enough to remember some really hot, older women of the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s or  even earlier. How many of us recall Lillian Gish and Bette Davis?  (She got Bette Davis Eyes by Kim Carnes) with both Lillian Gish and Bette davis being sex-symbols in the 1930’s.

Either a woman is one of the sexiest women alive or she is not,  but plugging the sexiest woman of the moment, to plug a new James Bond film,  sell a product,  or promote something,  is just plain wrong.   I would think that one prerequisite for being named Sexiest Woman Alive is that you have to have been voted in by the public, not the writer’s who are using sex just to sell magazines, plug new products or sponsor the annual Victoria Secrets Christmas fashion-show just to sell frilly underwear.  In order for one to officially be one of the sexiest women alive you have to have been voted a sexy-woman at least once in some kind of public-poll in the last 100-years.

So here is my list of The 25 sexiest women (in all mediums) of all time. All 25 of these women at one time have been voted a sexiest woman, sexiest woman of the month, year, or all time,  at least once. I think few men, real men will disagree with my choice of the women who should be in the top 25.

4. Lauren Bacall (you know how to whistle don’t you? Just put your lips together and blow to summon this classic 1940’s hottie)

5. Greta Garbo (Ninotchka) and Marlene Dietrich (Destry Rides Again)

1950’s

6. Jane Russell (this sexy outlaw can take me prisoner any day)

7. Gene Tierney (Laura)

8. Bettie Page (boop boop be doo!)

1960’s

9. Diana Rigg (On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The Avenger’s TV series. This chick could  Emma Peel for me anytime.)

10. Marilyn Monroe (not only would the summers be long and hot with America’s favorite blonde but the winter’s to)

11. Sophia Loren (Italian bombshell)

12. Ursula Andress (The movie should have titled, Dr. Yes)

13. Jane Fonda / Ann Margaret (red-headed Barberella’s)

14. Doris Day (love to see this Virgin queen through a glass-bottom boat)

15. Brigitte Bardo (If God created woman, he threw away the mold after this French beauty).

16. Raquel Welch (One-Million-Years B.C. would not be long enough if she was around)

There were a lot of others who ran a close second like Jayne Mansfield, Dorothy LaMour, Lana Turner, Capucine, Shirley Maclaine, Susan Hayward,  Veronica Lake, Cheryl Ladd, Gina Lollobrigida, Pamela Andersen and etc. but if we’re shooting for the all-time top 25 sexiest women alive, I think my list is the definitive list. Forgive me all you J.Lo lover’s that she did not make the list. There are just too many favorites and I wanted to bring in my list at the top all-time 25 sexy women. Even I, found there were ties.
