WALMART PUTS THE WORD “CHRISTMAS” BACK IN SALES

the word “Christmas” is a manipulation being used by the Scrooge’s that run Wal-Mart instead of “Bah Humbug!” The female voice doing the Wal-Mart TV ad, says the word “Christmas” like someone was holding a gun to her head.

Though the retailers may use the word (Christmas) instead of “happy holidays” they don’t mean it as anything other than a device to get you in the door and separate you from their money.

Zack and Miri make a controversy

Americans like their sex behind closed doors.
Americans love “to do it” but we feel uncomfortable talking about it. Well someone has to talk about it. Someone who is not a quack like Dr. Ruth or Dr. Laura. Someone other than the Hispanic gangbanger looking to bang your daughter.

What makes 40-Year-Old-Virgin a funny comedy and Zack and Miri a controversy? One word.

The devil is in the details and religious whack-jobs like James Dobson, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson are foaming at the mouth. They live for soundbite moments like this.

how can we have an honest conversation with our kids about responsible sex when we make comedy’s that lie to them? Or comedy’s that lie to ourselves?

The Lost Art of Bond, James Bond.

I was severely disappointed with the latest Bond release (Number 22 officially, number 24 total) Quantum Of Solace not just as an author of a Bond novel, RED INDIANS but as a James Bond fan. Ian Fleming, the creator of Bond never intended that 007 become a “terminator” or two-dimensional cardboard cut-out action figure. Violence was always an annoyance for Bond which distracted him from his passions in life, girls, cars, Baccarat, and his number one passion, the Vodka Martini, shaken not stirred.

Creating tomorrow’s dirty-laundry today

So why, after 30-years, when American government failed to learn their lesson at Jonestown is CNN regurgitating the horrible tragedy?
As a young journalist I learned quickly that, “If it bleeds- it leads.” Yet, we exercised restraint in what we reported and more importantly how we reported it. Today’s young infotainment twenty-something journalists under pressure for ratings and looking to build careers, do not labor under such restraints or compassion.

When authorities began looking into allegations that Jones was engaged in a wide-ranging criminal enterprise which included welfare fraud, election fraud, child abuse, and extortion, instead of the FBI detaining him, the government hiccuped allowing Jones to flee to French Guyanna, a Banana-Republic that had no extradition with the U.S. at the time.

CNN and the networks do not care about your pain.

Obama’s nation has begun

The man just won the election not one week ago, will not take office until Jan. 20, 2009, and already the Neo-Cons and Neo-conservative grassroots organizations like Grassfire.org and others are already on the attack.

But you know Grassfire.org will not publish the names of the 1-million so called resistance, because there are not 1 million people who resist an Obama administration (likely one hundred sore Neo_con losers who bungled McCains campaign and are now crying in their beer). Grassfire.org will not publish the names of the donors who are funding this “tripe” they call resistance because the names would be people like McCain, Palin, Limbaugh, Cheney, Limbaugh and other’s who have lost their power and now have to sit idly by on the sidelines the next eight-years planning and scheming their comeback like the little spiders they are.

The Rule Of Three

Maybe God, up there in his heaven, feels a void or has need of three great talents in the same career field at the same time so he takes them all at once. Maybe it’s just the Wiccan Rule of Michael Crichton (Jurassic Park), creator of ER and other TV series, died unexpectedly in Los Angeles November 4, 2008 after a courageous and private battle against cancer.

Three- whatever energy a person puts out into the world, be it positive or negative, will be returned to that person three times or conversely, when that energy is taken out of this world- it is taken from us three times.

The $5-dollar slop sandwhich

The corporate fast-food empire in America is evil. They have had Americans bending over so long, spreading our butt-cheeks and liking it, that they think they can get away with whatever they want, whenever they want , and treat the customers however they want. McDonalds makes billions-of dollars every year. Last year McDonalds revenues reached a record high of $22.8 billion on global comparable sales of 6.8% and returned $5.7 billion to shareholders through shares repurchased and dividends paid. Yet. last week, McDonalds announced that they are no longer going to offer its customers free water.
